Rubanni Nijjar

Rubanni graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Vision Science in 2019 and is currently undertaking a Master of Public Health degree while also working at CFEH. Rubanni worked within corporate optometry as a dispenser for more than 6 years before joining the Centre. Her role is focused on clinic management, operating and troubleshooting diagnostic devices and supervising and training final year optometry students during clinic rotations. She has a particular interest in ocular imaging as well as promoting eye health awareness and patient education for all, but particularly for vulnerable, indigenous and NESB communities.
