Pauline Xu
Principal Optometrist, Clinic Operations Manager
BOptom (Hons), MOptom, GradCertOcTher, GradCert Tertiary Teaching
Pauline received her undergraduate and Master’s degree in Optometry from UNSW and Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching degree from University of Western Australia (UWA). Before joining CFEH, she practiced full-scope optometry in both rural and urban practices followed by 5 years working with the Brien Holden Vision Institute (BHVI) as a research optometrist and a research manager in BHVI, China. Following this she joined the CFEH team in which she held a Lead Clinician role. In 2022, Pauline was appointed clinic director of the Eye Health Centre of Western Australia and led the establishment of the first optometry teaching clinic in Western Australia. She returned to Sydney and CFEH as Principal Optometrist in 2024 concurrently holding a governance officer and a Senior Lecturer position at UWA.
