Vincent graduated with a combined Bachelors of Optometry and Science with Honours from the University of New South Wales in 2014. He then spent 3 years in Nowra, NSW working in corporate practice, developing a special interest in diabetes and ocular pathology. During his time in clinical practice, he has supervised optometry students from the University of New South Wales and Deakin University. He has been invited to lecture medical students from the Graduate School of Medicine, University of Wollongong. He became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2017. Vincent is currently undertaking a PhD on “Integrating novel clinical markers into eye care models in Australia to improve management of diabetic complications”.
