Postgraduate education

We offer two postgraduate courses in ocular disease through the School of Optometry and Vision Science at UNSW. These may be taken as part of a Masters degree, or independent of any award. The courses are OPTM7511 Advanced ocular disease 1, and OPTM7521 Advanced ocular disease 2.

These courses use guided learning to help optometry practitioners refine their diagnostic skills while consolidating and developing their knowledge of ocular disease. They aim to give practical application and understanding to image interpretation and disease diagnosis through the use of case studies, problem-based learning and observation sessions in our clinics.
