Postgraduate Education
CFEH offers 2 post-graduate courses in ocular disease that are run through the School of Optometry and Vision Science at UNSW and may be taken as part of a Masters degree or independent of any award – OPTM7511 Advanced ocular disease 1 and OPTM7521 Advanced ocular disease 2.
The courses use guided learning to help optometry practitioners refine their diagnostic skills while consolidating and developing their knowledge of ocular disease. It aims to give practical application and understanding to image interpretation and disease diagnosis through the use of case studies, problem-based learning and observation sessions in the CFEH clinics.
